The GeneWize ‘Secret Steps’ To MLM Success

I want to share some secrets that very successful network marketers are familiar with and most fruitless network marketers don’t recognize.
I’d like to give you ‘The Secrets’ to real success in GeneWize or ANY network marketing business for that matter.
To have success in network marketing, you have to go through three phases. Every phase is significant and you can’t leave out any of them. The secret is knowing which phase you’re in and how to shift to the next phase.
Phase One: You
In this phase it’s all about you. How much can you create? What are your objectives? How many people can you sign up?
“I love the products for the reason that…”
“What if somebody asks how much I’m earning?”
“How can I get that individual to join my team?”
This phase is where you build up your faith and assurance in your company, product, and business opportunity. It’s also where you develop that relentless assurance in yourself. The YOU phase is very central, but you won’t get very rich if you stay in this phase for too long.
If you stay in the YOU phase, you’re likely to blame others for your disappointment.
The company failed me.
My GeneWize upline didn’t encourage me.
You get the picture.
Unluckily, nearly everyone is stuck in this phase…not just in network marketing, but in life as well. You have to go through this phase in all that you do.
The vast majority of people who abandon network marketing and speak pessimistically about it never made it beyond this phase.
Phase Two: Mentor
In this phase, you’ve figured out that your accomplishment comes from serving others in order for them to succeed. You put together events, run conference calls, do three way calls and step up to a Servant Leadership rank. This is a vitally significant stage in any business enterprise.
Various people are still trapped in the YOU phase but act like they are in MENTOR phase. They say all the right things but you can sense their power is still all about them.
You know you’re still caught in the YOU phase when you feel like you want the business opportunity more for others than they want it for themselves.
“I wish my friend would just get it.”
“You’re my best friend so I’m going to buy your way in and place people beneath you.”
Even though you might believe this is about others, it’s really about you. If you truthfully wanted to encourage your friend, you’d let them get whatever they need to get NOT what you want them to get.
You identify you’ve reached the MENTOR stage when you stop caring whether people get engaged in the GeneWize business or not. You know that if it’s suited for them they’ll get in. If not, there is something else they need to be doing and you’re content to support them in that.
You’re additionally in this stage when you are solid in your certainty. You did well in the YOU phase and are able to coach others how to get strong in their convictions.
In this phase, you become the teacher. You educate others to recruit. You instruct others to get assurance. You coach others about life.
This phase is very satisfying and seductive. Once you get on stage and make an impression on people’s lives, you can sense like you’ve found your mission. It’s compelling to know you can coach others and help them transform their lives.
However…just like the YOU phase, if you hang about in this phase you won’t generate true residual wealth.
This stage is an ambush that can make you feel worthy, but also stop you from receiving absolute freedom.
Most motivational speakers are trapped in this phase. In network marketing, people in the MENTOR phase are producing $1000 to $10,000 every month. This is you if you have your modest team of people who you feel accountable for. They see you as their guide. They look up to you and gain knowledge from you. The majority of network marketers never get out of this phase and those who do get out of this phase wind up making millions.
Phase Three: Entrepreneur
This is the supreme phase for creating true leveraged and enduring wealth in GeneWize.
This phase is tricky because it goes against almost everything we are taught in school and conventional business.
In this phase you commence to teach others to coach others how to get to the MENTOR phase. This is a very delicate and important distinction that most people don’t understand in the network marketing industry and it’s why nearly everyone doesn’t make enormous money in network marketing.
Just as you become the leader and build up a following, you need to break off and initiate to move away from the group. As you disconnect, you’ll learn that others rise up to head their group and other groups as well.
These are the individuals you now spend time with. They’ve arrived at the MENTOR phase and it’s now your duty to coach them how to do what you are doing…get into the ENTREPRENEUR phase.
In the MENTOR phase, you are the leader. In the ENTREPRENEUR phase you are the leader of leaders. You can’t allow to spend a lot of time with people who are not leaders. You must spend time coaching and teaching those who step up and become leaders themselves.
In conventional business this is why this phase is counter-intuitive for a lot of people.
However, in GeneWize or any mlm you HAVE TO create rivalry for yourself. If you help somebody make more money than you, you are doing fantastic. Help just one or two more people do that and you’ll be creating more than you can fantasize about!
On top of that, you’ll also have created independent leaders of leaders who no longer depend on you. They’ll do it even if you sit on a beach in Hawaii…now, that sounds like a nice idea!
In the ENTREPRENEUR phase, you don’t run the conference calls…you train others to teach others to run the conference calls. You may address at the events but you spend more time teaching others to coach others how to speak at the events. Your guidance is shown in how many leaders you have generating more leaders. It’s your profession to make people self-sufficient…
Being an entrepreneur is more complicated than you realize. You have to drive yourself to stop being the person that everyone depends on. You have to lift other people higher than you. You have to let go of your ego and be a designer of leaders.
It’s also hard because if you haven’t been through the first two phases, you won’t have the integrity to guide the leaders. The secret is to teach to teach at the precise time. Not too early on and not too delayed.
When a network marketing professional reaches this phase at the right time with the right people, their earnings become so gigantic they can often feel undeserving. Self sabotage is widespread among these top people if they haven’t built solid confidence and self-worth.
Personal growth is the secret to reaching each phase and staying on top of your game.
For example, I’ve been a passionate reader, viewer and attendee of personal growth experts for most of my adult life. I have contacts with many influential people and make it a essential part of my mlm business because I recognize how important it is to help people reach and evolve to each phase.
In GeneWize or any business, look at yourself and recognize which phase you are in right at this time. How can you get to the next phase? What kind of individual accountability will it take to get to the next phase?
The answers reside deep inside of you and you and you alone will know when it is truly time to muster up the courage to move on to the next phase…and that my friend is the REAL secret!
