• Web Cams – Some kids keep theirs on them 24/7, others use it to stay ‘face-to-face’.
• GPS – These kids never get lost and they don’t know how to give directions.
• Blogs – They openly share ideas and create followers.
• iPhone – Gives kids even more technological firepower.

This generation knows no boundries and have no limitations. They are mega-connected and well-informed. You can’t fool them and if you try you’ll never get back their trust. They believe in themselves and know they’ll find success. They don’t have jobs. They’re frustrated, hungry and open.

Network marketing has been waiting for this generation.

The industry that sheds traditional politics and focuses on social networking and performance based promotions is exactly what this generation is looking for. This generation grew up with network marketing.

Hotmail, MySpace, YouTube, Google, Facebook, Twitter…these companies grew because of network marketing – people telling people. They call it viral marketing, but it’s the same thing.

One person tells two, who each tell two, who in turn duplicate the process. One turns to ten million. Billionaires are made.

This generation gets it. They did it. They just didn’t get paid.

But now they’re figuring it out and someone is going to help them create their fortunes.

It’s not YouTube or Google. It’s GeneWize.

This generation will help redefine the network marketing industry. They’ll do things we can’t even think of right now.  As they mature and develop leadership skills they’ll create massive world-wide organizations that have influence and power…and of course wealth.

The Twitterers are not easy to recruit and not easy to mentor. They think for themselves and need to make their own mistakes. They also lack the maturity, focus and leadership needed for long-term success.

But they’ll develop those skills. And when they do, they’ll have the biggest distribution networks in the world.

It can be a frustrating trying to build a group from the Twitter generation, but with a long-term focus and patience…it could be your biggest success.  Here are some tips to help you build.

• Brand – This group defines themselves by their brands. They don’t want to be a part of something cheesy or cheap. How they feel about your design and message is the first step to grabbing their attention. Look at the web 2.0 brands that define their world.
• Technology And Relationships – Network marketing’s long-term success depends on solid relationships. We know that face-to-face is the best way to build those strong relationships. No Internet-only network marketing company has ever survived more than two years. Without a strong bond, affiliates are on to the next opportunity. It’s easier to quit a website than it is a friend. But this generation prefers connecting through technology. Start there and devise a plan to get your Twitterers to get offline and meet in person. When you do meet, make it fun, not just business. Getting this group off the Internet will be your biggest challenge, but the one thing that will insure your long-term success.
• Growth and Recognition - Just like every generation, the Twitterers want a place where they are growing personally and professionally. Recognition has been a huge part of their education. They have trophies for everything as their hovering parents tried to give them the best and boost their self esteem. This generation wants to be seen. They want their name in lights…well, on websites. Let them know that you’re paying attention and they will do the work.
• Honesty And Openness – This is the no-hype generation. The Internet exposes everything and everyone that doesn’t live up to their word. Underpromise and overdeliver and you’ll find you’ll have their loyalty.
• Achievement – This is the one area that gives network marketing a huge advantage over every other industry.  The rules for achievement are clearly defined and based on production… not age, race, religion or creed. This generation will out-work and out-perform people twice their age because they know the playing field is level. No other industry gives them this much equality.

It’s important to target your brand, marketing and technology to include the Twitter generation but not to ignore the core of your business.

That core is not defined by a generation or any other target market. The core is your leadership…no matter where they come from.

Recruit leaders, build leaders and promote leaders in your group as you grow. If you’re the only leader on your team right now…stick it out. Your leadership will come. The law of attraction is strong and you’ll eventually find people just like you.

As your group grows…make room for the Twitter generation. Let them be themselves and work with their technology as you gently mentor them to long-term thinking, emotional maturity and leadership.  You can meet them online and communicate online, but make sure you get them to come out from behind their devices.

It’s sad but true and this is exactly why there is such a high failure rate in the network marketing industry.

Surprisingly, it’s not really the fault of the business owner. In fact, a severe lack of business training is mostly the cause as the vast majority of network marketing companies focus on making building a business look easy to recruit sheer numbers into the company.

This is advantageous for the company itself, but what about the business owner? There are massive gaps in marketing, mindset, technical, business and development training.

Why?

Well, if people actually realized how much work is really required into building a highly successful network marketing business, then a large portion of them wouldn’t even sign up in the first place.

Having said that, there is hope and it’s here. The biggest skill you’re ever going to need when creating a true income earning machine from your GeneWize business is the ability to handle rejection and flipping it around to your advantage.

The following are the top five objections (I call them excuses!) to network marketing business opportunities and strategies to countermeasure them.

These strategies alone will put you head and shoulders above 99.9% of the all the other struggling network marketers out there:

“I really don’t have any time for a business” – Say to them it’s OK and allow me go to work for you. Provide me the names of the ten most thriving people you are acquainted with and I’ll give them a call. If they desire to sign up, I’ll give you a chance to join before they do.

“I don’t have any money right now.” – Ouch! This is a common one but easy to get around. Just say allow me go to work for you. Provide me the names of the ten most flourishing people you know and I’ll phone them. If they feel that they want to partner up then I’ll give you an opportunity to join before they do.

“It’s impossible to custom produce a supplement for every individual.” – That’s true when you first hear it and at the start, I was doubtful also. But then I became conscious you can customize just about anything today at a sensible cost. When you buy paint they custom mix paint exclusively for you. At the paint shop, they don’t have thousands of different colors on the shelves.

“I don’t wish to expose my DNA to anybody” – This is where you would say that GeneWize has a strong privacy policy and instantaneously destroy your DNA after analysis. They only keep the results for the 12 non medical genetic SNPs to customize your nutritional supplement. Here’s some food for thought, you give your DNA away every time you have a meal at a restaurant and leave behind saliva on your utensils. There is now a federal law that forbids any company from using your DNA for any unjust act.

“Is this a pyramid scheme? I don’t like network marketing; I’ve heard too many bad things about it.” – I appreciate what you mean. I don’t like that apparent unprofessionalism, either. But I have to be honest with you; network marketing is very different than what it used to be when it used to have that kind of negative image. For instance, the second richest man in the US, Warren Buffet, owns three network marketing companies. Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki highly recommend it in their book, ‘Why We Want You to Be Rich.’ You’ll find out that there are not that many objections to network marketing once people understand just how professional it really is.

And there you have it! It’s so simple yet most people make this such a huge challenge for themselves they literally talk themselves out of their own fortune!

One thing is for sure, most people who enter into a new business don’t really know how to build it so this is so critical with regards to whether or not you see rapid results, and this especially true when creating your GeneWize business.

The one thing that is most significant to appreciate is where to position a new partner you just signed up.

The Golden Rule:

You have to position on the BOTTOM OUTSIDE of your pursuit team, otherwise known as your lesser team. There are very little exceptions to this rule.

The Reasons Why:

When you put someone on the bottom outside of your pursuit team, you help the largest amount of people possible.

To begin with, you help yourself by developing your pursuit team which is the team you get paid on.

Subsequently, you help everyone you individually enrolled on that side by placing volume on one of their teams.

Thirdly, you coach everyone on the accountability of building at least one team, and helping their personally signed up people as well.

Important Note:

It’s vital that you know and that you educate your team to understand that they are accountable for building TWO TEAMS. It’s a gift if someone is positioned under you. I know quite a few people who have had to build two teams and have made a mountain of money! Me included!

The Exception To All Of This:

There is an immunity to the rule. It’s such a rare exception that it may never be relevant to you. If you sign up someone in a different city and you already have a LEADER in that town who can give huge regional support to your new partner, you might want to place the new affiliate in the leader’s team even if that leader is on an inside leg.

What is a leader? It’s someone who has established they can build their business, can run a meeting and can do trainings for their group. Since you won’t likely be placing more people there, make sure this individual is in your leader’s power leg so they have the utmost chance of spillover.

If You Screw Things Up:

Don’t fret if you’ve previously placed individuals on an inside leg. In addition, don’t worry if you were placed on an inside leg and are not receiving people placed beneath you.

The people who make the most in this industry build two legs…it’s just the way it is.

It’s more central that you be placing people under your people than your up team placing people below you.

8. Bring out the best in everyone and allow others to do the same – The world is full of people who take others down. GeneWize leaders do the reverse. Bring out the best in people by talking about the finest of them. GeneWize affiliates recognize other’s good wishes with modest thanks.
9. Help others – GeneWize networkers are first concerned with others and second concerned with their own GeneWize business. You can make a distinction in someone’s life that’s more important than if you can sign them up in GeneWize. GeneWize leaders know that serving individuals is the most important business choice you can forever make.
10. Grow yourself – GeneWize networkers are on a lifetime passage of personal growth. They are continuously learning and ever aware of how they are improving physically, psychologically, morally and monetarily.

This means I search for people who I think would be better at this than me. My perspective is I’d rather be rejected by a millionaire than a guy without a job. I’d also prefer someone to say yes who has with a large circle of authority than a person who hasn’t yet learned how to network.

Here’s what I look for when looking for guests to look at the GeneWize business:

Servant Leadership – I look for value centered people who are willing to take on the accountability to assist others to build an empowered group of people.

Genuine Leadership – I follow people who speak their reality and genuinely care about others. They are the people who know that leadership is about who you are, not who you say you are.

An Owner State Of Mind - If someone is fascinated by what we have, they need to be the kind of person who handles trials and solves troubles like the owner of a company.

A Motivator – I look for people who know how to motivate and encourage people to take action. They are people who take liability for a team and work well with other leaders.

Long Term Thinking – I don’t look for someone who is into ‘get rich quick, but someone who wants a lifetime of enduring income.

Willingness To Learn and Teach – The hardest part for most flourishing people is to drop their ego and learn a new business. This type of marketing has many small subtleties that make a huge difference. If you’re willing to learn and have the patience to teach, we’re interested in you.

Business Experience – It’s not critical to your success, but the more established success someone has had in business, the more likely they are to recognize the importance of discipline, hard work and the results you can anticipate from that.

Human Development Centered – I look for people who read, watch, listen and refer personal and expert development books, CDs, videos and tutorials. I’m looking for leaders who are high integrity and are incessant learners.

Women Leadership – Women are paid less than men in conventional business, but in this industry they are paid uniformly. Both men and women earn millions in the GeneWize business and it’s the one place where only results matter – women are as equally victorious as men. You don’t have to be Oprah or Hillary, just a woman who wants to make a distinction and get paid very well for it.

US Based – The GeneWize opportunity is based in the US and Canada. Other countries will be launched when they make the most financial sense.

Become aware of what is not on the list. I don’t care if you “Have time” or “Have a lot of money” or are a “Network marketer”. I don’t care what degree you have, where you live or what country club you belong to. We have the systems, the product and the compensation plan if you have the approach and integrity.

Does this kind of philosophy get results?

With these necessities in mind I was able to attract top people into my GeneWize business and now the Gene Inner Circle Team is a force to be recognized with many people benefiting from the power of long term residual income.

Be demanding. You don’t want to take on just anyone.
